Results

The following activities are expected to come into effect in the course of 2007:

• creation of a census card, and data collection by means of a pilot study of the sound archives in Tuscany, followed by the analysis of the data and evaluation of consistence, state of preservation and historical importance of the archives.  Insertion of data into a databank.  This first experiment can be repeated in other regions
• realisation of three specific training modules (one of which of an introductory nature), complete with didactic material and possible drills
• an Italian translation will be drafted of the Guidelines on Preservation and Restoration of the IASA (International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives).
