Durante During the work phases, consideration will be given to projects realised by State Archives, devoting particular attention to the systems of acquisition, handling and long-term preservation of digital resources, and comparing the technical solutions adopted for digital acquisition, also sounding out the companies of the sector, with respect to the specific documentary typologies.
Finally, technical documents and recommendations will be elaborated and published to assist sector practitioners to elaborate digitalisation projects in the ambit of the Technical Guidelines for Programmes to Create Digital Cultural Contents (Minerva Project), according to methods and procedures appropriate for the specificity of the documentary contexts and capable of guaranteeing interoperability between systems.
The work group, on the national level under the guidance of ICAR of the Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali, will assume the task of planning and conducting a classroom course on themes related to good practises for digitalisation, starting from examples of archival documentation, but also expanding to other sectors of cultural heritage interest.
As part of the project, information tools and schemes will be elaborated in order to conduct an e-learning course on the specific theme. The on-line course, preparatory to the classroom course, will be conducted by the Fondazione Rinascimento Digitale, starting from the material supplied by the group of experts, in view of arousing sensitivity on the themes confronted and beginning training for specific competences.
