The Fondazione Rinascimento Digitale actively participates in European projects, within the Framework Programme and in other initiatives, which develop researches and studies about the critical issues of digital preservation, interoperability, copyright, and about the application of information technologies and communication the cultural heritage.
The participation in these projects enriches the horizon of the action and guarantees the chance to have national and international confrontations, new sources of information, new paths of deepening, development and circulation of innovative ideas.
To reach long-term goals is essential to use a coordinated approach at European level, because solutions differentiated country to country would lead only to partial results.
