The trustworthiness of digital record

Topic: Preserving digital records trustworthy over the long term: concepts and principles. Two of the most challenging issues presented by digital technology to the records, archives and legal professions, and to researchers, businesses, government, and the public, are the identification of records among all the digital objects produced by complex digital systems and the determination of their authenticity. In this session, you will learn the concept of record in the digital environment and the various types of static and dynamic records. As a group, we will explore the concepts of reliability, accuracy, authenticity, and authentication in relation to those records and the various ways of ensuring digital records trustworthiness through times.
